The OP's clearly a freak!

SHUN THE MINORITAH!!

:D

Anyway, I'd hate to think what I'd type like on a different layout to QWERTY.

Imagine a tired, old donkey that gives rides up and down a beach. That's my normal typing pace, compared to some at least.

Now take the same donkey, feed it a gallon of night nurse, break all 4 of its legs, chuck it into the sea and sit the fattest woman you can find on its back. That'd be me typing with a different layout.

I use a QWERTY, I sometimes have to use a QWERTZ keyboard as I live in central europe but it's no biggie.
I don't touch type, I've never found the need to learn really, I did briefly play on something like Mavis Beacon teaches typing ages ago in my early teens but got bored :p

I looked at Dvorak and Colemak, and would have liked to move to Colemak.

Sadly, trying to find a keyboard with Colemak keys was practically impossible, and I'm not one to faf around with cellotape.

QWERTY is rubbish tbh.

Colemak does look like an easier transition from QWERTY than Dvorak. I don't know how it compares in direct comparison though.

I took an old keyboard and popped the keys out, changed it to dvorak, but I got frustrated and went back to qwerty.

Edit:
Also presents a scrabble opportunity:

Was recorded @ 87wpm about 10 years ago on qwerty.
I've never even heard of dvorak tbh but I suspect I would be back to single digits on anything other than qwerty0 :)
