Hi there

OK its not quite a dell but this new Hazro, the HZ27WB uses the exact same panel as the DELL U2711. This is a CCFL panel with ultra wide gamut, giving more accurate colour than the LED version of the Hazro's.

Makes this exceptional value, this is a one off model, the price is an introductory price only and a real bargain:-

Hazro HZ27WB 10-Bit 27" Widescreen Professional Monitor - Black @ £329.99 inc VAT

Very tempted by this, though a bit nervous about Hazro build quality. Still, if it's backed up by OcUK's excellent service I'll take the risk.

Can you confirm the photo is of the current HZ27WB model as the HZ27WB on the Hazro site looks very different. The photo above looks like the HZ27WC to my untrained eye.

Hmm im tempted! My 24" dell exploded coupel of weeks ago, im tempted by the bigger res as I mainly play EVE. . . . 2560x1400 vs 1920x1200. Hmm. Difficult, payday still 3 weeks away for me! :(

Gibbo, I've not ordered it yet. I'm waiting for my question to be answered. This is what the screen looks like according to the Hazro website and TFT Central:

Is that what you're selling as the photo in your post and on the website looks like the WC model?

The image doesn't seem to work and you've tried to hotlink it anyway which isn't allowed.

Try this:

That's the same image (from TFT Central). Strange, I can see it fine.

Are you posting to say that's what you get/got from OcUK? Thank you.

It is the same image.

I hosted it for you as your link doesn't work for me and you shouldn't be hotlinking.

I see it works now you've uploaded it to an image hosting site.

I've no idea if that's what you'll get from OcUK.

I just posted the same image you were posting so that Gibbo could see it if he couldn't see the one in your post.

This come with a scaler? I missed out on the last greater than 1080p monitor offer and this is seriously tempting.

EDIT: "The HZ27WB offers no hardware level aspect ratio control unfortunately, so if you are gaming outside the native resolution or aspect ratio, you will need to rely on software / graphics card control." - So no, it doesnt. Thats not a deal breaker for me mind you. Wallet is looking severely vulnerable.

Hi m8

We are so busy, if its not shipped by 16:30, call sales and they should be able to escort it onto the DPD truck for you. :)

I ordered at 2:30pm and its still "in our warehouse queue" (not even the usual "printed in our warehouse" which is presumably further on in the process) - as is an order I just made - hopefully both will ship today or they will be cancelled tomorrow.

Looks like they aren't going to ship now - still at "queue" stage - shame, have to think overnight about cancelling £800 of orders.

yeah its like a 27" version of the HZ30Wie in terms of appearance with a CCFL backlight - I prefer that stand to the one on the WC/WD models
Assuming it is the same and OcUK don't have a 'one-off model' after all I think they'd sell more if they put the correct photo up. The plasticky WC isn't a patch on this much more businesslike piece of hardware.

It's only Gibbo's 'one-off model' line and the 'introductory price' that has stopped me buying today. As the model came out in 2010 from what I can find out 'introductory' is a bit misleading. Either way I won't be getting a new monitor for the weekend :(

That is not the one we sell though, same panel, but ours is as per picture, the stand has only tilt adjustment. So we obviously have a one of model. I wish it was the one in the ALU frame and adjustable stand, be bonkers price.

But its in the same bezel/stand as the WC model, the difference is it uses the 2711 panel.

Its not that!

It looks like the WC models 110% as I have one on my desk!
