**WHO WANTS A DELL U2711 for £329.99 Inc. VAT??? (YES THERE'S A CATCH)!!**

Maybe we were just unlucky. The screen did look good before it died and the surround still looks a lot better than the DGM. The description was clearly a mistake and has already been corrected on the website I notice.

I posted in the Customer Service forum and received a reply before 9am this morning, admitting the error and offering to resolve it promptly. I can't fault the after-sales service so far, which is why I keep buying from OcUK.

Doubt luck has played a part at all, if 2/2 monitors have the exact same problem (one within 20 mins and 1 on arrival) then Hazro have obviously not checked the monitors after making them with what must be extremely cheap components you would find on a £50 monitor.......... and even then I doubt that would not respond.

Really not acceptable, £330 it should be tip top, A cheap case and inputs are fine to keep the costs down and make it cheap. But extremely cheap internal components that are vital for the monitor to actually work? and that are probably within £5-£20 difference of good ones.

Really not acceptable in the slightest, I bet most of the Korean monitors are built with better internal components than this batch (and actually turned on and tested before shipped)

But to be fair OCUK has dealt with it very promptly. Although that cant be forgiven that they have completely false advertised.

EDIT; Someone else's arrived DOA the same..........http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18437248&page=2 This isn't right, weren't unlucky at all here mate Hazro need to sort this out, they are ruining OCUK's reputation, good stores dont stock expensive monitors that turn up dead 3/3 times with the same problem

Shocking quality control by the sounds of it,or probably non existant?
Buying a monitor should be about"will I like it?" not "will I be lucky and get a working one"!
Least Ocuk have a good reputation for sorting problems out;)
Hope you fellas are up and running quickly!

Yeh OCUK sorted out return straight away (although it cost me £5 on my mobile) very quickly so props to them for that, but the false advertising mistakenly or not was not acceptable as it was up for 3-4 days.

Although I now have no monitor and no money to buy a new one till I get a refund, so I stuck with my phone....... got important stuff im trying to do is a nightmare.

Hazro on the other hand..... I have more faith in the Korean sellers than Hazro, if this is the way they operate OCUK shouldn't stock Hazro products as it makes them look bad.

Number 4

Sadly, I received another that didn't work. Similar to others, power light on, computer recognised monitor but no picture. OC have been brilliant though and it has been returned with no problem. Assuming the refund comes through shortly, imagine I'll be ordering a Dell from OC as a replacement. Shame really as the Hazro is a great idea if you don't want all the bells and whistles of the Dell. If you are willing to take the risk then perhaps still worth a try but don't be surprised if you have to return it. Finally, it is a shame that OC screen reviews of products. I realise that you will always get a bias of negative reviews but at least potential buyers can factor this in and make their own decision. Simply removing all the negative reviews makes it difficult to reach any conclusion.
