**WHO WANTS A DELL U2711 for £329.99 Inc. VAT??? (YES THERE'S A CATCH)!!**

It definitely will be better with the original stands (maybe offer as a bundle?) but the aluminium bezel was also a big selling point for me. I could get it with the 30" model but think 27" is the sweet-spot with the wider field-of-view in games.

I've continued trawling through the Hazro thread on the forum and found this one from January http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showpost.php?p=20986363&postcount=2504 where 'hazro' explains their reasons for going with the cheap looking plastic surround for the WB model. So I guess it's not just a 'one-off' but the current model after all, despite the fact that their website still hasn't been updated 8 months later.

How are you finding it compared to the DGM or a DELL? I hate glossy screens so I'm concerned that the DGM would be too reflective for me and the DELL has a load of additional inputs and features I just don't need and which make it more laggy in games, not to mention the price difference.

The monitor looks lovely, it's just a shame it doesnt have more inputs. Including hdmi is the difference between a sale and not for me... guess I will be going with the dgm offering.

Then you are hanging out with the wrong girls! There's a couple of girly geeks in my office for whom a 27 inch monster like this would definitely assist in the pulling process. :D

I just accidentally hit 'Buy' in a moment of weakness ;)

I guess it's not just Gibbo's desk that's going to have one of these sitting on it soon.

It wasn't sitting there long.

Less than 20 minutes after I set it up the screen went off and I can't get it to work again. I've tried restarting PC and monitor, different ports, different cables, different PCs. The blue light is on and each PC recognises the monitor, but the screen itself is off.

Before it died the screen looked good with no dead or stuck pixels. It was too bright though and the brightness buttons did not work so I had to turn down the brightness on the graphics card (GTX 580). It also didn't come with a factory calibration and the gamma was a little high.

My worst fears about Hazro appear to have become reality.

I bought this monitor and it arrived today....... in short I AM NOT HAPPY.....

I come home from work excited because my new monitor and 7970 are waiting for me.

Let down number 1; The monitor is different from the one pictured on the website http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-019-HO (the pictures are clearly of a shiny glass finish, the one I received is horrible matt and the casing was a bit different)

Let down number 2; The description says the monitor stand had up/down tilt and swivel, it has non of these and is a standard stand.

Let down number 3; The monitor came with NO SCREWS to attach the stand...

Let down number 4; THE MONITOR DOESN'T EVEN WORK..... I press the button to turn on and the blue light comes on, that's it, the screen doesn't even turn on, just stays black.

Let down number 5; I have already sold my old monitor which had to be shipped today, so I am now writing this on my phone and cant use my PC

Let down number 6; I cant even test or use my new 7970!!!!

This is the first time I have ordered anything over £20 from OCUK, and my god..... I am more than let down, I am sure you would agree if this was you after a hard day of work looking forward to your nice monitor and GPU when you get home..... you would be as mad as I am.

I actually cant believe it :(

The person I spoke to on the phone earlier said that they were going to get the product info changed.

But its still the same... Is it not false advertising?

I would hate for someone else to be severely disappointed when the completely wrong monitor turns up.

In fact I would advise not to buy this at all.... 2 have turned up pretty much DOA both the same and 1 with missing parts, their quality control must be... zero, they must have just put these together and sent them straight to OCUK without even checking if they work or not... let alone even trying to collaborate them.

:(:(:(

From what i can see the description is accurate enough. It says "hazro" and what you have described is classic hazro. :P

Never knew Hazro were that bad.... on all the product reviews the ratings are very good, I suppose OCUK just dont allow the bad ratings on the site or something.... which kind of makes the entire point of a rating system completely useless.
