Whoo, bought a credit crunch flat with a difference

Holy... Colour me insanely jealous. I am currently looking for a <£500/week flat in central(ish) London to share with three other students. It's looking like I'll be lucky to have a living room or space in a bedroom for both a double bed and desk.

Hope it all goes to plan. Should be amazing when it's done! :D

£500 a week?! I'm not moving to london for a while then

that place is huge! sure its not a warehouse?

and london for £500 a week would get you a nice place, ours is £340 a week and its a 3 bed house with garden near canary wharf (IOD) in a nice neighbourhood.

that looks amazing, get rid of Bedroom 4 though and have more empty space. A bedroom off a living room is kinda weird.

If you really want another room there, half the size and use it as a storage room

Er.. do you mean £500/month? For £500pw you could get fairly nice-looking 2-3br flats in Notting Hill/Holland Park.. on your own.

EDIT: Ah, i guess you mean 500pw between you all. That's still not hard

that looks huge, although I will have to ask if you plan to do anything with the mezzanine area? Seems a shame to waste all that space.

Looking at bedroom 3 I would be quite concerned about that low window unless it has something outside?

Chances are we will make the mezzanine area in to a small study area or something like that.

bedroom 3 has a small balcony.

Looking very nice already! Any plans on what kind of decor you're going to plump for? Something modern, minimalist and swish I guess?

Yeah, max of £500/week between us (so £125 each). Which yes, is enough to get somewhere good (living room, ok bedroom size, close to a tube + supermarket) if you search a bit, but when compared to this...

I can imagine that totally kitted out, minimalist with nice cream walls and wooden flooring. Think about the size of that kitchen!
