I did not take to much notice of what the chap waring, I think he had glasses and was around 45 onwards in age, he come around just after I joined and filmed using his Iphone 4 like you mention.

I was standing outside SWAG when the Apple procession come around.
 
My White 32GB 3G should be here on Tuesday/Wednesday :)

I've actually tried a black and white one today, I absolutely love the white and much prefer it. I was worried it may be slightly tacky but it is absolutely superb.

Cant wait :D

Ahh cool. I'm hoping that PC World get my one delivered soon, their confirmation email says the expect delivery within three days, but on their site I've noticed that stock info has changed from 'Home delivery' to 'In stock within 28 days', just hope I managed to secure one of the earlier ones!!
 
Walked into my local PCW earlier, nobody there. Said "I'll have one of those".

Was in and out within about 5 minutes! :cool:

I guess there has to be one benefit of living in Cornwall? :p

I've seen some pretty comprehensive battery tests and the battery life is largely identical down to about 5 minutes

Edit: oh sorry you mean has the iPad 1s diminished over it's life
 
I use mine daily no issues what so ever iPad 1 that is. Gotta wait for more stock to replace it with an iPad 2:(

No issues what so ever with the iPad1 though. Battery is excellent.
 
Would like a 3g 16gb white one, when do you think the likleyness of just walking into the local big electrical stores such as a flying rock in space, and picking one up?

or anywhere :( when will they let you reserve for store pick up at the purple shirt store etc?
 
If you notice that your iPad 1 battery life has gone down after updating to iOS 4.3 I've read that disabling Ping in General > Restrictions can improve things. I did it yesterday and it definately helped.

A months time maybe, phone your local store before making the trip regardless.

I would think seriously before buying a 16gb one. The upgrade to 32gb is well worth it if your budget can stretch to it.

I have the 64gb ipad1 and while its a huge jump in price i certainly would struggle with only 16gb. Of course it depends on buget and how you plan on using it of course.
