mmm now that is what i am talking about, i wonder how they would look in dual screen mode?? definately 23" only wish the stand was removable because putting two of next to each other would be weird.

Of course and that will be a particular strength of the new series. 1920 x 1080 at 120Hz coupled with Samsung's response time algorithms should be a nice mix. I also hope that the HDMI specification will be up to the task of supporting this as well - the 7 series, after all, lacks the DVI Dual-Link port.

What about people who mall mount their lcd's, it doesn't look like you can do it with this range ?

Realistically, the 27" is surely going to cost a minimum of £900 + ?

If the input lag is under 10ms, i'm interested though.

For the 3d effect, is there is a big difference with a 23" compared to a 27" ?

Why would you think they are going to cost £900? Do you really think that would be commercially viable when you can get a much larger '3D TV' for about the same? I would be very surprised if it even exceeded £500 by much - just educated speculation though. The resolution and underlying technology is much the same as the 23" monitors. They can obviously put a bit of a premium on the looks and materials used but when you start pricing the things beyond the level of 27 inchers with fully adjustable stands, IPS panels and much higher resolutions you have made a mistake.

Aye, I was way off the mark with that figure :D

Considering what you say and having a rethought i'm not sure if I would pay over £450 for the 27"...

I hope the screen coating is glossy/ their ultra clear coating.

Can't be too long before we start getting reviews.

Yeah I would say even £500 is just a bit much for any 'non professional' monitor :). Apparently the screen is indeed coated with the 'Ultra Clear Panel' coating so it should bring some nice vibrancy. Looking forward to these beasts. :D

I'm waiting for the 27". I was going to go for the Asus 120hz (23") I know there will be a large cash gap but hey look at it. If the panel is a good as anticipated this could be a game changer for monitors. Will be interesting to see what other manufacturers bring to the mix though
