I think all the hate comes from a different kind of Sony, when they was on top and crushing all in front of them, they got a bit arrogant, but when you have sold like 80 million more consoles than the nearest opposition well i guess you would be arrogant. Sony have had a bit of a clear out and they seem to far less arrogant and far more realistic, quite a bit different from the "old" Sony. Sony announced Home to early but in retrospect if they released last november as planed it wouldnt be any where near as good as it is now. As Miymoto said and delayed game eventually comes out a bad game is bad forever, i think that is one of things people should take notice off, why release or in fact show a game when its not ready? Gow3 Teaser trailer was just that a teaser trailer, to generate interest, according to reports its not far off looking like the CGI trailer, there is gameplay but its not in a state to be shown. Motorstorm 2 was criticized a few months back when shown at the gamers day as it just wasnt really ready to be shown, now a few months on its did a far better showing and looks great. Sony seem to like showing games off a bit to early for my liking but its just showing what they have coming, but at least it stops the what having they got coming next year brigade. Part of it is comeback from sega/nintendo/xbox fans who feel a bit of pay back from Sonys past history after all the grief they got from Sony fan boys in the last couple of gens, which is just as childish if not probably more so than the original teasing. Its a bit like in football, the most successful becomes the most hated by non fans, until someone else starts to be more successful then they are the object of hate. I guess its part of human nature for some, jealousy and waiting for the "big guy" to fail at there expense, but hey what ever makes them happy. I feel people who "hate" a console just because of the manufacturer are very small minded, childish and probably have some kind of mental imbalance, they kind of people i dont want to associate with TBH

Plenty of people dont want a PS3 and they have every reason not to, if they dont want one because of the controller, or there are no games they want to play on etc, but not want one just because its Sony is just ridiculous. I own 2 of this gens consoles a Wii and a PS3, why dont i want a 360? Well there is nothing i rarely want to play that i cant play on my PC or PS3, and buying a consoles to play one game seems a bit silly. I may get a 360 at one point if i dont its not because i "hate" 360's or Microsoft for that, just that im perfectly happy with my other consoles and my PC
