Why are certain types of racism tolerated on here?

Everyone's a little racist, I think everyone can have a friendly bit of banter, I'm friends with people from all walks of life, the colour of someone's skin doesn't make me think differently of them, so I don't think certain words should be considered offensive, who decides if a word is offensive anyway, for example who decided 'see you next tuesday' is the worst word that you can say?

I'm rambling so going to bed, night all!
 
Im Cornish and I dont give a carp if someone gives me racial abuse but I dont like the way people assume you dont care as long as they dont care about their own race (if that makes sense :) )

i hear you, but that wouldnt happen with everyday words ...

i mean how often do you use the words ****, jock, chink etc apart from using them to talk about someone in a racial or ethnic stereotype?


they arent exactly words you would use every few minutes, except for the obvious

everyone is a little racist ?!? thats a very sweeping statement, and one that i certainly wouldnt use.

And who decides if its offensive? well obviously the person your talking to, and not you! because your not bothered, it doesnt mean that others arent !!!

i used "jock" as it applies to me, and it made sense to use it. but there are loads of other words
 
Your far too sensitive about racism.

Taking the **** is a great british past time, take all the englishman, scotsman and irishman jokes as an example.

People need to stop being so uptight about how things offend them, and just get on with life.

Nobody cares if you feel offended by simple words, get over it.
