Why are people so dumb...

True, actually did this recently lol...longggggg story but guy had changed a great deal since school days and stuff he was posting was the final straw.
 
Individuals have the ability to be intelligent, people are dumb.

FB messages or the DM comments section always seems to be driven by an on-line mob mentality. Brains switched off (thinking/reasoning is a nuisance) random rant and back to watching benefits street :rolleyes:
 
I wanted to start this thread and several weeks ago I made my own picture I keep replying with -

Sometimes I link to Snopes or Hoax-Slayer only to get 'Well how do you know they are right?'.
What gets me are those who I respect in real life and have got a large IQ but still share stuff randomly without thinking about it.
 
Just clicked on Facebook and somebody is still sharing the really old picture of the vans that are trapped behind bollards - which are removable.
I posted a link to Snopes.
 
Surely the problem isn't Facebook ... it's the quality of people you are willing to acknowledge as "friends" on there. If someone's a muppet then don't accept their friend request, or if you have already done so then accidentally remove them / opt to hide their posts.

Then all the shared ******** goes away ...

Fair enough I'm happy to bow to that :)

However, why have they not hen banned it and how have the population been surviving as long as they have?

what I was questioning the people on was a link saying it was for "fun" "purely ritual" and that the meat wasn't consumed. All of which are false.

Anyhow the above debate is not particularly the point of the thread, as informative as it has been :)

Heard that as well, gave me a laugh that one and knowing the North Koreans and their antics I did actually check to see if it was true :p

Edit: not actually their ability to land on the sun, but the gall to claim it anyway :p
