Why did you join this forum?

Bought the parts for my first self built here back in 2000 and joined the forums around then. Got a little slack when the 2002 nuke came around and didn't re-register for a couple months.
 
Bought a PC for christmas and it didn't work, needed to ask questions as the person buying it didn't have a clue what to ask in the end.
 
I joined for the pc chat discussion. I had been a regular viewer for about a year before hand but could not sign up with my hotmail address (not accepted at the time) so in the end used a family member's AOL address.
When I signed up I was not aware of motors but I do like that section of the forums.

I am also pretty sure that when I joined in 2006 there were less gay threads on my girlfriend has left me or on my neighbour is annoying me.
 
i wanted to add a graphics card, so i went onto google and stumbled on to the shop and then the forum.
i did lurk for a while but then i saw the free delivery for posters with 250 posts, so i got beavering away ;)
 
I was looking for recommendations on a new card for Half Life 2 about 6 months before it's official launch. The official launch was put back by 6 months on two occasions.
 
Originally for the computer expertise, I've been reading since 2004. But the pc section seems to gone down the toilet :P Not nearly as good as it used to be!
 
A few mates used it for the hardware forum, I had a look and found the motors forum... that was it... hooked. Hard to find a decent car forum thats non car specific apart from pistonheads.
 
I joined as just about every google search questioning what hardware I should use ended up back here, legends, the lots of you! :-)
