No idea, just about to try this one. First time I've ever got a costly mouse. Well, costly to me. 50 quid is a lot for a mouse in my opinion.

I was going to order a G502 or a G Pro and didn't because it'll just mean another piece of software sitting in my system tray.

I'll probably just get another Deathadder because Synapse already on there controlling my case lighting.

aye? I'm using the g502 and you don't even need to run the software, the mouse keeps all settings on board. You only need to run the software ONCE to dial in your settings and then you can uninstall it or block it from running on boot up

Thanks for the input but it doesn't matter for me know anyway.

Got my Basilisk Ultimate and am quite happy with it. Mouse feels great in the hand and is a good weight.
