Apple users are more intelligent. Just by this thread I can see a pattern.

Well, yeah, wouldn't you do the same if it clearly works?
uh - huh
High-end smartphones, W7+HTC+Samsung e.t.c cost the same as an iPhone. Whos laughing now ....
uh - huh
And they do just 'work'
I was talking to someone I know the oher day about my San Francisco, and yes, the customisation is good and appealing, but a lot of every day users don't want that...they want the phone to work, you shouldn't have to buy the phone only to then strip it down yourself to make it work faster
That, and the whole apple range is a god send to some people, it all talks to each other, you can control practically everything in your house from one device, etc etc etc. What's not to like? Yes it's expensive, and its one reason I don't own any of their products.
Also OP, you never answered my question about your Samsung, is it stock or not?![]()
1080 vs 720p in the real world isnt such a big issue, as i said earlier the vast majority of the UK dont even have TV's which can play 1080p yet.
Also the jump in quality from SD -> 720p was huge, 720p -> 1080p is much much smaller.
These apple type posts always get a lot of people going.
Is it not a good thing that some people like Apple, and some (myself included) have gone the way of the droid? That means there is choice out there.
one is full HD the other is not...

You aren't really doing much to disprove his point.

Most people don't really care. If you reaaally need full HD then clearly the Apple product is not for you. Quite simple.
If, like most people you want 'high quality' images/video then Apple will do just fine.
As I've said before specs are irrelevant to the VAST majority of the users, it's all about perceived performance.
As I've said already (and will say again).
It's a year older, the point has no relevance. The iPhone 5 will be full HD and have a better camera than the Galaxy S II (if the iPhone 4 is anything to go by).
As I've said already (and will say again).
Rumor has it that the new IP5 camera will be using an upgraded 8mp Sony sensor compared to the current 'OmniVision' sensor used in the IP4, has potential to be a big improvement.
Which means nothing if you have no medium to play it on, and most the UK dont.
Additionally, 1080p was less significant back when the IP4 was launched
