tbh, I thought the title was going to refer to the recent trend of tinted/smoked number plates, to try and hide the reg from cameras/eyes. How on earth do they get away with them?

Who here has actually had their plate cloned as a result of having it posted online?

I don't have location data on my pictures but if someone wants to clone my plate to put on their R8 V10 plus then fill your boots.

More fool the person cloning plates to put on another Bronze MX5 if you ask me
There's enough subtle differences that will set mine apart if such a thing did ever happen

I spotted a bronze modified Mx5 that I thought was yours the other day in Northampton, but the reg was different.![]()
Always forget how many OCUKers are so local
Think his point was more that the R8 is a pretty rare car, it's unlikely it's going to be the victim of cloned plates.
