Why do they bother?

Fox, i doubt you understand these threads as i'm not sure you've lived an exciting minute in your lifetime.

CY, I doubt she was giving it any or maybe didn't know how to drive the car though if she was well behind in 1st without you launching it... GT4's are pretty quick though, what do they generally make at 1.1bar with other breathing mods?

Obviously because Fox has never smoked cars that are significantly less powerful than his own from the lights he has never had an exciting moment in his life.

wouldnt shock me :S it's pretty obvious that it'd keep up imo, you have a slightly higher power to weight ratio, but the bimmer has rwd and more torque/outright power...even match!
 
Same as most threads here. If your one of the "In" crowd people will all go "Oh wow your my hero", if your not then the same people will harp on about it not being clever.

lol. Are you the part of the association of Fox internet bodyguards? It was a comment in jest, don't analyse it so much and don't loose any more sleep over it. I'm sure he'll be ok.

The 330d shouldn't be a shock, I creep past a colleagues 530d but I need to be in the right gear and eventually he will catch up and pass. They must weigh lots though.

Why else would she make an effort to pull into the lane next to him instead of behind him right before a merge?

I pressed the "Trac off" button once in the Neon, it made the words "Trac off" come up on the dash.
 
Sorry to kinda of bump this thread but been away for 3 days and there are some questions that needed answering

Maz not sure what the year was as it had a private plate. Seemed a fairly recent one post 2002? as it had the same interior.

Power wise my car is probably now knocking on the 300bhp door, so it had between 60 and 30bhp more than the Merc and weighs 300kg less.
 
I try the old "TLGP" sometimes around town in my XJS.

I don't really care who wins, I just like hearing my big straight six screaming with the windows down. Actually I have failed to "smoke" some pretty embarassing stuff as it's an auto and not that fast, or I chicken out and hit the brakes when I'm over the speed limit. Like some weird "maxed out" CRX del sol that I couldn't pull ahead of and even went home and looked up on the internet to find out what the hell it was. Bleh, it's fun to play, but I think people that feel obliged to "smoke" everything they pull up beside must have some seriously roomy trousers.

Pointless post, maybe.
