Why do transits rust so much?

It is actually Camouflage which renders those up to no good completely invisible to the Rozzers. Unfortunately it only works on motorways & council estates & not private estates which is why you only see near new Transits on private estates, Well actually you don't see them as clean Transits are invisible on New estates :D
Well have you seen any on a Private housing estate ?

whilst we're on design flaws

what option specified for removable trim underneath the headlights

that bit of trim allways seems to fall off on the older ones

Ford use galvanised primer than actually galvanising the steel?

My 2004 Mondeo had to go back to Ford for rust repair along the door bottoms / boot lip! Luckily they fixed it (so far!) for free under warranty.

Used and abused, how a van should be.

Yesterday I was driving behind an '06 Fiat van and there wasn't a panel what wasn't dented or had something missing.

new ones dont rust, the connects don't old company had 30 of them

merc sprinters are by far the worst for rust

Well, I was thinking of getting an old banger van for moving the odd thing around, and to use for camping and things, so occasional use...

Found this beast on e-bay, R plate, and they said it has so much rust it was maked as spares/repairs even tho it drives ok and has an MOT!

:D

I guess I was just a little surprised as it's over 10 years newer than my car, yet my car has very little rust.

I think I may go for something a little less rusty... It would probably be less hassle in the long run!
