Why do women want to know everything?

Was in Italy last week! Flew out there with a mate and his gf was on the phone to him CONSTANTLY.

She wanted the following:

Texting when we took off
Texting when we landed
Texting when we arrived at the hotel which was a grand total of 12km from the airport
Texting when he got up each day

In the end he agreed with me in turning the bloody thing off and letting her get on with it. When we questioned why she said "oh because I'm worried and want to make sure hes ok...."

No love, your checking up on him, its not like hes gone on a lads holiday - sod off! :p

I appreciate this thread isn't 100% relative, but it felt like a good time to rant about it :p

This is the worst. Or when they disappear for like 15 minutes because they wanted to phone each other... You've been texting constantly, what the HELL is there to say?!

I've stopped repeating myself if they missed what I said because they wouldn't get off the phone.

The whole text/phone thing is unbelievable. My wife learned very quickly that I do not respond to texts or answer my phone (the device is on silent 24/7). It's a tool which I choose when to use (and when not too). Perfectly happy for that "awful" attitude to be adopted by everyone else for the "well you can't expect other people to answer you then!" lot.

Commuting was such fun in silent misery, as opposed to loud one conversational sided banal hell.

And THEN she wanted to meet him at stansted....Not to pick him up, no...to train it back to London with him.

Nevermind the fact, she lives in London, was going over his anyway, so could've saved £25 and gone straight to his and waited for him there.

It just became a joke, if he didn't text back within the hour the phone would go again and if not within 15mins she rang! :mad:

Ignoring the fact we were at a wedding so he couldn't give a rats arse that she 'just wanted to talk'

I cannot stand needy women! Wanting some attention is fine, but to the point where it becomes ridiculous is not.

Her: 'mumble mumble muble' *aimed at me*
*headphones out* 'Sorry, what did you say?'
Her: Don't worry
Me: No, go on...
Her: Nevermind:
