Why do you watch films on TV you already have on DVD??

I watched a movie (MI3) a few weeks ago on sky that i have on Blu-ray

I aint watched TV in years (other than when I'm at my mums..) it's boring, repeats, or those dumb X-Factor-like shows which bore you to death :/

I usually watch Friends when its on. I have them all on DVD.

I always do this.

At the moment I've got a habit of recording DS9 on Sky+...... when the boxset is <2m from me.

If I have said film on dvd, or especially hd-dvd or blu, then I will put them on the player at the same point I have watched to on tv.
