Why is my room so dusty?

That is some serious dust from just a few days.

Have you thought about an air filter or something? May help a little.

when you cleaned did you actually clean, or just lift the dust up into the air, and as a result it has now settled back on your stuff?

Carpets are notorious for holding and dispensing dust. When you hoover or walk across it disturbs the dust settled in the fibres which flies off into the air.

Lose the carpet or use a swiffer duster daily.

do you vacuum your bed? if not, do.

do you dry and change clothes in the room - thats where most the dust comes from - clothes. Just shake your clothes in a direct beam of light and you'll be amazed how much dust comes out.

You use antiperspirant ? That leaves dust everywhere after a few days of using it in a given room.

How does making the air drier produce less dust? If anything it would exacerbate it.

Dust comes from the outside, and you. If your window is open a lot and you spend a lot of time in your room then that's why it's dusty.
