why is my ssd showing up as a scsi drive

well i did a complete reinstall of windows 7 earlier and the drive came up as a scsi drive :(

installed the drivers and that for the board still an scsi drive :( did what was advised above and now it is an ata devicebut still only 5.9 :( not cool for a ssd drive

any one got any ideas this is reali winding me up :L
 
Since the board doesn't appear to support AHCI, you may be stuck getting full performance out of a SSD on that motherboard.

Could you run the benchmark from here and post your results?
