Why is OCUK the best forum on the web?

I just come here to amuse myself at the trivial stuff the mumslot crowd here post and then watch them whine over it.

Some other sections are good though, I wouldn't say it's the best forum on the net though. I'm on some better ones. But each to his own and all that.
 
It was much better in GD about 5 years ago, with some really good threads. Now it's mostly copy and paste from news websites.

The rest of the forum is still quality though
 
Although I don't often post I visit regularly and agree that ocuk is the best forum that I know of, indeed most if the forums I frequented from the golden age of the internet are dead or deserted. I kind of view ocuk as the last bastion of 2000's internet.

I find amusement in a lot of the threads plus there is a tremendous amount of expert and niche knowledge across the membership.

I hope ocuk continues for many years as it would be a real shame for it to go the same ways as other forums.

Nah im kidding. Its a repetitive little thing that does keep me informed of Blighty though. I wouldn't have too much input from the UK without it these days.
