Why is Subway so greedy with ice?

I'm an equal opportunities employer.

If someone has no experience I use aptitude testing, and I'm not afraid to train people up neither.

Generally speaking though, no I don't hire inexperienced people unless they catch my eye and prove themselves. It's the kind of world we live in - you have to make things happen or you'll not go anywhere fast.

Because bacon doesn't necessarily mean pork. The same with the other meats. The take away will be halal which means there will be some substitutions or rather it'll always be turkey ham. beef pepperoni and turkey rashers.

I'm surprised you don't know this already.

it was on a takeaway menu at a friends, I can't even remember what the place was called now.
If I can be bothered I'll see if I can spot them on justeat but I'm about to run to asda for milk and winegums :D

That's queer, I usually have the opposite problem; they full it to the top with ice and give you about 10ml of actual coca-cola.
 
I was taking an American girl out at the weekend... she asked for vodka soda with ice... the barman does the double vodka, fills the glass up with soda and then drops in two measly ice cubes - fairly standard over here but she made a good point - those two ice cubes do absolutely nothing - if you're going to serve a drink with ice then fill the glass up else its utterly pointless... especially given the temperature at the weekend when ice was actually a rather useful thing to have in a drink.

next round we asked for a vodka soda for her and emphasised with lots of ice please... I think we got about 4-5 cubes that time....

water loses circa 42000 joules per degree C in temperature drop... 4-5 ice cubes is going to do the square root of **** all to a drink... maybe when you finish it you can wait for them to melt and get a couple of slurps of cool water... aside from that the way we put ice in drinks over here is complete BS...
