Why is there nothing like quake or timesplitters around anymore?

Old school RA3 player here. Nothing has had me more addicted to gaming than that one.

That brings back memories. Wasn't there a lot of Matrix remix music in that mod? I remember it on some big huge map that was a castle or something... Ah there it is! 1:56.

The annoying part was everyone seemed to play on that map at 1:02.
