This place is tame compared to many other places throughout the Internets. I think every forum has a resident nutter, attention seeker, that guy who posts in every single thread, trolls, person prentending to be someone else, etc. This list is endless.

The vast majority of users here, like the vast majority of society, are decent people. You only find the ones that are extreme either way evangelising.

I agree and disagree, I think that there are decent posters but I think because of the anonymity of the internet, there are more extremist views and people say things on here they would not say in the actual real world due to there being no fear of repercussions.

Also; the type of people who make up the forum user base isn't a fair comparison to a general population.
