Why... Its not bacon.

I know Muslims can’t eat pork, fair enough, but is an artificial bacon flavouring really enough to make you feel physically sick?

A Muslim I used to work with used to comment how good frying bacon smelt.
in some circumstances they are allowed to eat pork .. hidden but true fact

Yes only if there is no other food to eat. Chances of that are very rare unless it’s some sort of apocalypse type of event but then I would imagine there wouldn’t be many animals around to eat :p.

Only in gd could this ****** article get this much traction.

How about... ignoring it, like the soon to be pointless reply to my pointless post.

Love the response that these stories get, it’s as bad as the initial story:d

She better not go in my local Asian supermarket, we have bacon(turkey) rashers and sausages and what not

you are forbidden from eating an animal that was already dead before you slaughtered it, e.g. the animal died of natural causes, attacked by another animal
out of curiosity, why not?

edit: i mean, other than because 'the big fella' said so. did he give a reason why not?

no reason given, but how would you know if the animal you just found was safe to eat?

How do you know the same if you buy it from a shop?

BSE, salmonella, tapeworms...all too common even with high modern standards of meat processing.
