It's normally the English who are the worst on Live IMO, not British as the Welsh, Scots and N Irish are all pretty cool Americans can be just as annoying though but they tend to just be squeeky voiced and talk trash rather than racism, well unless there is some French in the room

Almost every english person i've played with have never been offensive, i find them mostly layed back, unless you get a few under 16's or somethin then they can be annoying

4.) Since there is no option to turn off team chat I AM forced to listen to them or play the game without sound at all

On the rare occasion you join a server full of decent cool people voice comms really works well. Also must be pretty good in clan games.

Where is the hypocrisy in that? I started this thread to point out that the psn not allowing you to disable voice comms ruins the game because 99% of the time you a re stuck on a server with a bunch of inbreds with voice comm with no way of shutting them the hell up. Me pointing out that spending every waking minute on the game is pretty sad, and that in fact the cod4 ranks are perfectly balanced is in no way hypocritical.

To be honest, instead of whining about how quickly it took you to get to rank 55, maybe you should take a good long hard look at your lives and ask yourself what 29 hours spent playing a video game in the space of a few days means? Enjoy your empty lives whilst you can

So, my conclusion is that you sad gits should go out and see the world a bit more, because ironically it will actually increase your enjoyment of the game when you do have the time to play it!

this is just a random thought (coz i hate the control method for fps on a console)

How about a kind of motion sensitive headphones/mic combo? As well as having the standard mic and headphones if you turnyour head left and right up n down etc then it moves the x-hair on the screen!! In other words it does the same thing the right analogue stick normally does. (left analogue movement and right stick for aiming/looking around is what it is normally in console fps yeah?) (this one is better than the last idea i had for different control methods for fps hehe)

I mean hey if they can have a motion sensitive device like the wii and the ps3 siraxis do similar things then why not headphones?

How would that work on a portable tv where you only use your eyes?
Most people only flick their eyes about on a big screen. Personally I think the current method with joysticks is the best yet.

Track IR works something like that on the PC, great in racing games, I imagine would be horrible in FPS though
