Rotten luck you've had with this car so far, hope nothing else goes wrong for you. :(

Although I am not usually superstitious, I do believe I have owned a couple of cars thet were jinxed. You keep thinking nothing else will happen but it does. I hope this isn't the case.

Have I missed a couple of threads then  The only thing I knew of before this was when he binned it on the RR day and he got off very lightly with that considering what damage could have been done.

Think he is referring to the mechanical problems that I understand he got done under warranty. Gearbox and propshaft wasn't it? Hardly a big deal on a car with 140K but could have been painful without a warranty.

Yes, I was refering to the mechanical faults and whats happened now. Also, whilst binning it was your fault, you didn't intentionally do it and its a shame it happened to such a nice example.

Personally I consider a totally free brand new transmission and heavily discounted clutch change on a 100k+ car as a result of a 'slightly stiff 5th gear' to be hugely lucky and not at all bad luck :D

I was most pleased :D

LOL Fox, you had to have the gearbox changed on a BMW?!?! I thought they were uber reliable! German rubbish :p

I am of course joking, and am very impressed that they carried out that work for you, free of charge. That's good service for you!

However, I am sorry to see just what some scrotes will nick. Hope it doesn't cost you too much to get a replacement.

Bit gutting isn't it, knowing that some scumbag has had his hands on your car.

Where i work, they tell us to pick up on anything on a truck with Warranty, Warranty work makes us the most money. I work at a Volvo main dealer by the way.
