Hi, do gamecube games work with the Component lead on the Wii?

No, all pal releases are 50/60hz (not all are 60hz) interlaced.Syph said:Do any PAL releases support 480p though? I know only early GC's (like mine) have digital out for 480p but not the majority...

A lot of NTSC games supported progressive though.Syph said:Aye, that's what I thought.
Not on the PAL Wii. "Modchips" are out but not ones that actually do what they're supposed to do.The $6m Dan said:Is it possible to get NTSC game in Europe though?
I know there was talk/rumour of it happening, but has it happened yet???

JaFFa said:also you can get a freeloader disc to play ntsc on Pal systems but I dont know if it carries through the 480p element.
bigbilly50 said:It does - you just have to be really quick holding down the 'b' button when the game starts to load (to give you the option of progressive)
Edit - just done a bit of research on the net and it looks like the only other PAL game that supports 480P is 007 Agent Under Fire lol
