Had 15 mins on it last night as I couldn't pick it up till after 9. Very impressed with the overall polish of the game and the board, as said, is heavy and appears hard wearing. I've got a Wii Fit age of 30, although I'm actually 24.
BMI is .30 over 25, so I've set myself a target to lose a stone over a couple of months (although I'm 6' 1" with a 32/34" waist) so we'll see where it takes us.
Going to try hard to use it every day and see if it actually works. Not going to modify my diet as it's not too bad at present (although I'm a sod for snacking). Then I'll modify diet to suit. It's intrigued me enough, it seems!
I imagine so- if you were to undertake a regular routine on it of pressups, yoga, jogging etc I don't see why you wouldn't be as fit as someone undertaking the same exercise at the gym
I'm impressed, my Wii Fit age is less than my actual age This is especially good as my BMI is high to the point of obesity. (nothing new there, but BMI is flawed)
Loving it so far, the low impact is great for those of us with half knackered bodies
After posting on Friday about how I was going to wait til the hype died down I promptly went down to a local catalogue store and picked one up as part of the wife's birthday present.
Have to say the although I've not really used it a great deal myself so far (just done the test twice and a couple of events) I've watched the missus play it a lot and I'm really impressed by it.
I just snuck in at ideal weight the first test I did however I was underweight when I did it yesterday. (only dropped .2 kg or something).
I can see us using this a lot and when snowboard / skating games are released for this I would imagine the board could be a superb addition.
Did the muscle exercises tonight; man I feel unfit! Legs are hurting. At least it says I'm a year younger than my actual age (although I only just turned 24 ). BMI is still just overweight.
Love my wii fit, I got a wii fit age of 2 years under my actual age, which is great!
I'm so unfit tho my whole body aches after going on it!
The table tilt balance game is ace, it became a personal challenge to complete that on advanced!
I've just called my local store again, and they got stock in today.. the conversation went:
"what's your name so I can check you are on the list"
"what list?"
"everyone that's come in to ask has been put on a list"
"i've been in every day for almost a week and nobody has EVER mentioned a list to me"
"everyone that has been in has been put on the list, if you're not on the list we can't sell you one"
