Hello out there in OCUKland
I wonder if anyone could help me out with a quick question......
I've just treated myself to a Wii console which I've got connected up to a Sony Bravia 32" LCD via a component cable and therefore is running at 480p. Very, very pleased with it so far and loving the tennis and boxing (as is Mrs Clanger...) and clearly it's really suited to "cartoony" graphics.
Now.....I've never owned a console before (dedicated PC gamer for more years than I care to remember) and I wondered what a FPS-type game would look and play like. The nice man in Gamestation recommended Red Steel - which I therefore bought (second hand copy thankfully). Having played it for a couple of hours I have to say I have mixed views - controls are fine and were easy to get the hang of - however, the graphics are somewhat murky and it's often only possible to spot your enemies by letting them shoot at you and sighting on their muzzle flash.
So, my question is to those of you who know is, are the graphics for Red Steel "state of the art" for the Wii (in which case I'll stick to the cartoony games
) or are there better games out there?
All replies gratefully received!
Cheers!
