Being a PC fanboy it probably puts me in a better seat than most people who own consoles as the firm I was biased towards (Sega) have since gone from hardware.
Hated consoles, loaded up the PS3 E3 launch thingy that lasts about a hour, watched it, lots of nice FMV but never went, oh wow that looks fun. Most it got was, that is some nice FMV now show me the games.
Xbox360, nothing to brilliant here aswell, Gears of War, looks a right good bit of laugh and a different style shooter to on the PC, made me look into the games out for it such as PGR3 and DOA4, completely different to the PC and I will buy one after payday.
Nintendo Wii, after hearing mates completely trash the Gamecube for being bad and the like; I had little hope, all that needs to be said is I am jumping up and down, checking everyday to see if it is for pre-order, trying to read up on it. Yes the graphics are nothing to write home about, so it wont appeal to the 7/8 year old boys, but it looks fun, in a Super Nintendo or Megadrive way, none of the graphics makes a game. The launch titles, if no more are made for it will be enough for me to buy it. The potential for my NAN to play a video game with me is just such a huge draw, it looks simple and fun. I can not say that about a console since the PS1 introduced the graphics is a game trend.
PS1 is the same as the PS3 in my eyes, just inferior graphics, on release none of its titles make me want it, given time maybe, but for the release and what I have gethered about titles it just does not appeal at the price. Would not appeal at £100 with the lineup, I have played MGS and Gran Turismo when they came out on my PS1, so why play the follow up games. Once something inovative comes out for it I will no doubt buy it, can see it costing a lot to maintain a PC and 3 consoles, although I doubt many games will appeal to me on each console, although ever title that does something new on the Wii I think will be a must!
