Wii purchase justified in 2 words

Yes I'm more than aware it's EDTV 480p through component but my point is you can only use that mode on a HDTV and it's still perfectly clear and crisp.
 
ok well thats fine. like i said, its a silly point to argue but it is not a hd resolution:)

im glad its perfectly clear too, because some of my wii games look awful lol

I still get pwnd by my younger bro and cousin though, damn them.

You've obviously never played any decent games on Wii with component cable then.

Warcraft, Starcraft, same thing I can't really tell the difference to be honest. And Doom 3 is virtually identical to the last two games, it's like id software just copied and pasted everything and said '**** it, let's ship what we got'.
