I would expect optimization to come towards the end of the beta, will happen before launch for sure but that's just an ETA of Spring 2014 itself

Nope I decided a couple of years back that this would finally be the one MMO that I don't play the beta of so I can experience something new for once, and try to avoid news relating to it so I can save some surprises for launch, but it's really getting to me now and I really want to play it and help them test the game

Isnt the Immortals rather elite though? Due to real life I am more of a casual player but atm Im racing to level 32 just so I know I am safe in beta lol

atm I am the warrior but I am somtimes struggling to keep alive
