Will Campos and USF1 make it to the grid in 2010?

Hardly, they shouldnt really have been given the place in the first place (out side of trying to bring F1 back to the USA which is commendable as I have a big soft spot for the Watkins Glen track and Laguna Seca) as they just didnt know what they were doing... At least Campos have appointed someone whos actually done F1 before to get them in...

Oh and looks like Stefan GP will get the place and I can see JV make the less exciting career come back...

I hope the FIA learn from this and actually look at the teams in more detail rather than chasing money (i.e the US). I doubt they will though.

The failing is more of the organisation of the team. The FIA can only judge what they see and are told during the selection process.
USF1 must have done a hell of a pitch, and followed through on... well none of it?

OMG, that website is just side-splittingly funny - I literally burst out in lolz whenever I visit :D

Stefan Grand Prix writes history! said:
SGP becomes the first team in F1 history who did send a 40 foot container full of equipment to the race in Bahrain without having entry for 2010 season!

HAHA!

Oh dear, that Stefan GP site makes them out to look like proper idiots :o

I can just imagine their letter to the FIA

Dear *****

We have container delivered with bits to circuit, dedication shown. Let us into F1 2010?
Thanks mum & dad

K.Thnx

Regardless of whether its written in broken english or anything, its still a container more stuff than USF1 or Campos have managed...

A container full of English grammar textbooks?

:p

I have no idea why JV wants to make his comeback with this clown outfit... I fear he's going to be the laughing stock of the grid! If Lotus passed on JV and hired Trulli/Kova instead, then it's an absolute travesty IMO.

The FIA are a bloody joke tbh, they should just say 'Enough is Enough' to USF1, revoke their placement and let Stefan GP be signed up.

Simplessss!

Unfortunately for Stefan to be accepted it requires the agreement of all the current teams. Ferrari have a slight beef with one of the employees at Stefan and probably won't be too keen to add their vote.

I thought this, but one wonders if they will be pressured into just going along with the rest of the teams. It would be terrible press for them if they were the reason we were a team short for the season!
