Consider one or two raid-0 volumes on my new Z77 board

For video-storage and editor workspace only ,.. not OS

Can I avoid drivers being loaded and slowing down boot-up then ?

If it's for non-OS stuff just use a dynamic stripe or whatever they call it (windows raid). There is very little performance difference these days and no drivers needed.

e: I assume you are using windows here

Thanks, got to try that, I will then just connect the extra HD's,
Change the Bios from ACHI to RAID, and see if I am alowed to
make a raid somehow, (never been there before),.. :)

No need to change the bios, just leave it as ahci, windows does all the work.
