Will SSD improve my Frames?

So as you can see from my signature these are the specs of my PC:

QX9650 @ 3.7ghz
x48 Asus Mobo, 4gb 820mhz ram
5870 2gb @ stock
Win 7 x64

I have a plain jane Western Digital 32mb Sata 500gb hdd.

Would I benefit from an SSD, from a purely gaming perspective?

When I start up a map for the first time in the first map in BFBC2 I do get about 2secs of really bad lagg untill the textures buffer then I dont get any lagg again during any session playing the game.

Loading times are much improved, with my RAID0 SSD's I'm always first into any server. You might also find that you have higher minimum framerates, or less stuttering in certain games that load textures on the fly.
