Will t-cut sort some small scratches caused by backpack on seat cowl?

@craig you should getsome of that clear film I keep telling you about, saves all those scratches

I had to stick some on mine for the same reason, pillions jeans and rucksack rubbing on paint

Yeah, would have done, but got a new backpack which doesn't rub on it anymore so it's ok at the moment, just want to get rid of what's already there!

Going to try the t-cut this weekend I think.

Youll have to go some though,

Agreed. To hand polish your way through laquer or paint with T-Cut means you either have a bionic arm, or the paint/lacquer was extremely thin to start with.

In fact T-Cut may not be aggressive enough unless the scratches are very light, which is why products like Scratch-X are available. No harm in trying it though, but go steady with it, don't apply lots of pressure to try to speed up paint removal as it will mark the finish.

carplan t-cut I think

the only stuff I know that will go through paint is the stuff they use to mop/cut cars with using water/cutting compound and an electric buffing mop

this is the bottle ive got

http://www.t-cut.co.uk/index.cfm?page=1 (the red original one/plastic bottle)

mm looks like the same gear I have used was on a sr250 silver perhaps thin lacquer or they dont make men like they used to :D

Craig321 keep us up to date with this using t-cut.

May pick it up this weekend (haven't got any t-cut yet), but from seeing the comments about potential to mark the finish makes me think it might not be worth it. The scratches are light, I will look again this weekend and decide, maybe something less aggressive will be better, but I'm not sure what.

This is the stuff I was looking to get: http://www.halfords.com/motoring/pa...h-repair-paint-restorers/t-cut-original-500ml
