Will the z-680 speaker system be comming bak on OC?

Hey, anyone got any more details on the likelyhood of getting a replacement control pod from logitech? I've had my set for about 2.5 years now, and recently the speakers have started to hiss when on, nothing terrible, but noticeable none the less. I assume they charge for out of warranty replacements, but does any one know how much?
They're a very good set for nearfield movie and game use; not excellent for music, I have found. I wedged a couple of pairs of socks in the bass port to make it reverberate less; it 'farts' too much otherwise, I have found. For 123 quid, they're a steal! That's actually really annoying, cos with them at that kind of price, the resale value of mine has dropped loads!

For the Z5500 on amazon, supersaver ment delivered to my door in less then 24 hours of ordering 
. I noted that on my amazon mini review, and the site admins edited it out lol. Wouldnt surprise me if amazon just took the details(and money) and just told the logitech distributer to send as apposed to having to wait for dispatch from an amazon warehouse.

When I get DVDs on supersaver, it stays stuck on 'dispatching soon' for several days

The dispatch notice had even been updated on amazon yet when mine arrived so you may be in luck and recieve em today , but dont let me get ya hopes up, might just have just been a real slow day back at amazon when they sent mine out

They were sent using Royal Mail Parcels and A****n gave me a Royal mail parcel tracking number - have a look again and see if you have got a tracking number.
BTW. They're worth waiting for !!

I doubt you'll need to do that, unless maybe they start picking up radio or generate hiss, or something that would suggest the wires were picking up interference.
One thing you could think of doing is buying some spikes for the sub to isolate it from the floor, if you're going to use them in a bedroom that is. I hear a lot of people say how cool it is that these logitech subs can 'rock the whole house' but surely that's a bad thing unless you like annoying your family and neighbours. You still get the full bass with spikes, but the bass isn't transfered through the floorboards to other rooms. Logitech subs are usually miles too much for the sats too, so consider turning the bass down on the back of the sub.
