Will this be a good reservoir choice?

Has a barb that connects to 1/2 inch hose.

I was asking about the THREAD size, I know what the barb size is... And yea my T-lin won't be like that, it will be at right angles to the flow direction...Thanks for the info though, I'm gonna ditch my reservoir ASAP :)

Thread is 9/16" - 18 UNF on DD hi-flow fittings.

Thanks that's helped...a bit. Basically I can't use that fillport unless I find a barb that fits a 10mm/8mm tube. Anyone else do fillports or is there a mod I can do using plumbing supplies (I'm ok at DIY so most things are possible)? Cutting the hole in the top of the case for a fillport is easy once I can take the riveted top panel off. I heard you can put a fillport in the side, then put the case on its side when you are bleeding it, which sounds like an easier option with my case. Once you put the case back on its side won't any spare air in the T-line go back into the loop?

I just had an idea, to use a ball valve at the end of the T-line, then hide it out of the way once bled. Could also mount a fitting with a pushin connector at the valve so I could take off the side panel as well :)

The 3/8" barb version of the fillport should allow 8mm ID tubing to fit.
Dip the end of the tubing in some hot water to soften, and it will slide on easily.

The fillport is not essential though, could always zip tie the t-tube to the case frame around the drive bay area and use a rubber bung or similar to close it up or leave it open.
