Hi guys, just wondering if this PC will be any good for gaming on high settings on the latest games/future games:

> Intel Core i5 2400 Quad Core 6M Cache 3.10 GHz,
> 4GB DDR3 Kingston 1333 (2 x 2GB),
> 1155 Gigabyte GA-H61M-S2P-B3 - H61Mchipset - 2 x DDR3 1333 - Gig Lan - SATA 2 - USB2,
> 500GB SATA Hard Drive SATA 2,
> No Secondary Hard Drive,
> DVD+/- RW - 22X Samsung SATA,
> 1024MB GTX 560 Ti PCI Express Nvidia DDR DVI DX11,
> Cooler Master Elite 330 Black/Silver Midi Case No Psu RC-330-KKN1-GP,
> OCZ 600W PSU - STEALTH XTREAM 2,

Thanks :)

looks like someone didn't pay any attention to all the replies in the other thread he made ;)

for future proof you want

i2500k
gigabyte z68ap-d3(or similar)
8gb kingston hyperx genesis grey/corsair xms3/corsair vengence lp(the ones without the fins)
antec truepower new modular 650w

DON'T get the psu you've chosen, you want corsiar, antec, seasonic, if you want ocz go with the ocz zs series not the stealth xtreme

Or for an extra £10 the HD 6850

That graphics card is really poor. The least you want is 1GB 560Ti to be honest. Preferably find a system that has the GTX570. If not, or its too expensive, get the 560Ti OC. If you want more memory, then go with the HD6950 2GB. I would personally prefer the GeForce cards but thats just me, some don't mind and others have their preference too.

I would suggest a i3-2100/20 and a GTX 560 TI over a stock i5-2500K and a GTX 460.

Maybe you should get your parents to join the forum, they might be more rational as it is their money :p.

either to be frank.

little more expensive then your 2nd offeening(no idea about the 1st as no price mentioned)

build it yourself

i2500k(£174)
gigabyte z68ap-d3(£85)
kingston hyperx genrsis grey 4gb(£20)
ocz zs 550w(£55)
seagate barracuda 500gb(£60 today only, saving £30)
sapphire 6870(£150) asus 560ti direct cuii(£162)
bitfenix merc beta(£31)
win7 64bit hp oem £80
dvdrw £15-£20

~£690-£700 in delivery depending if you go with the 6870 or 560ti, could knock off £30if you go with 6850/560(non-ti).

or if you want pre-built

My budget is around 600 and the one I posted in OP is 590.

Still waiting for someone to elaborate
Do you actually care what's wrong with them? Or do you just want someone to say "yes, that one is good buy that"? Seems the latter is what you're fishing for considering you've pretty much disregarded everyone elses advice.

The overall point is you can do a lot better with your money if you just listen to the people in the thread, but if you've got your heart set on one you pick then just buy it.
