Will you be ditching your 980 TI\TX for Pascal?

It's quite the opposite TBH, Hardware tech is vastly outstripping what is being used in gaming, remember 1080p isn't even standard in this Console generation and the vast majority of PC gamers are using 1080p compared to 1440p and 4K, a 780Ti is still a great card at 1080p and a 980Ti/Titan X is huge overkill.

My personal opinion is in gaming we could do a lot better with optimising software rather than battering it with raw overkill GPU power because if Dev's optimised PC games to the levels of Console Games because of fixed systems and then allowed us then to customise our settings depending on how fast our PC is I'm sure you would see huge gains.

This^

970 is just fine for me for a few more years.

Fury X? No comparison. I'm sensible with spending money on gadgets but am confident enough to buy a 1080 or 1070 without seeing reviews as it will be pretty decent. It won't maintain it's position for long as we all know better cards will be along again soon but not a bad option for someone with an old worthless card who wants to pick up a card now for gaming.

Are will you a wait?

Are what? :p

I'm one of the circling vultures awaiting the launch of Pascal, I want a 980ti or maybe Titan X to replace my SLI 580's, but I won't spend more than £200 on one, ideally less, sorry 980 owners but their prices will drop, bad for you good for the likes of me!

I've always hung well back on buying cards, these days always second-hand, the last new card I bought was a 6800GT and that was only because of a great offer at the time.

I won't, I'll be ditching twin GTX780's with EK blocks :D Thinking of going for an EVGA Hydro Copper this time around, assuming a timely launch. The beauty is these are releasing right around the time my Rift is expected to arrive, perfect timing.

I have 2 X''s which I will sell. I run at 3440x1440 gsync and with the performance increase of the 1080 I think I could happily run on one and recoup a fair amunt of money.

It looks like the best that Pascal can do is 2 way SLI so my TXs will be doing a lot of gaming in the near future.

Got a inno3d 980ti in November and can't see it being such a great improvement so will keep it for at least another year, obviously would like a new shiny card but i would want another Ti and custom cooler so that could be a while based on previous releases.

Ditched the Titan Xs two weeks ago. No way was the 1080 going to be slower, so I thought it was a no brainer. I did not fancy an overnight sale price drop of £300+

There must surely be more then 2 way SLI. The cards have the SLI finger connectors for more then two way SLI. If it was limited to two way SLI, I would have imagined they would have only kept one of the SLI (like they do on the GTX 960 which is limited to two way SLI) fingers rather then two Fingers as is the norm for 3/4 way SLI.

Unless they are teasing us for the heck of it :p
