As already said something is only worth what people are willing to pay, I'd like a 980ti to replace my 580's but £200 is what I'd pay, the seller doesn't have to take my money but very soon he'll find himself waiting a long time for a buyer at the higher price.


I've waited and waited knowing this would come - and resisted £200 970's knowing the 980 would soon be in this ballpark once Pascal arrived - the high prices are for those who want cutting edge , those who are willing to wait reap the bargains.

Current drivers are keeping my 580's in service just fine?

It's painful for current kit owners of course but just the way of the world when generation's change hardware wise.
