I will watch the broadcast, but unlikely to out any bunting up. I would generally call myself a monarchist, and I quite like Charles. Mainly want to watch it because it’s not everyday a King is made, quite a historic thing with a process and protocol deeply rooted in ancient history.

I’ll take the day off although I’ll likely be on paternity anyway, other than that I’ve got better things to do.

Oh I’ll definitely watch, it’s a once in a lifetime event for many of us. No bunting though. Maybe a Union Jack or St George Cross in the window.

No.
Pomp and ceremony, parties and so on. All good fun, but really, I can't find it in me to get excited about some guy who's ancestors rode in and stole all our land.

Whenever people moan about the monarchy i say that they are where they are because of ^ and to raise an army and kick them off the throne. Generally a bit a confused look and then nothing.

Its true though isn't it?

Of course I am! I got a coupon in the Sun for discounted bunting. I'll hang it right next to my Brexit flags over my Britain First wallpaper. I'll pop GBNews on the telly too, I'm sure my old mucca Nigel Farage will have a lovely speech on the day.

I've given Agnieszka the day off too, she deserves to celebrate what are country has to offer and truth be told I'm not too keen on the immigrants celebrating this day with me, nowt to do with them.

To finish off I'll make a pot of tea and have Doris and James over for a cuppa, finally a chance to use that Union Jack tea cosy that the Daily Mail gave me. Pop some might music on, start with Come on Eileen, always a winner.

I brought some nice digestives from Asda too, I could have gone to Waitrose but they're a bit dear innit, which reminds me I need to sign on on Monday.

For some reason I can't fathom, the majority of people in the UK support a monarchy. I don't, but I acknowledge I am in the minority.
