Well it's an extra Bank holiday so that's good, a nice vegan (have I told you?) and some red would be nice ,the local kids get a commemorative mug

Of course I am! I got a coupon in the Sun for discounted bunting. I'll hang it right next to my Brexit flags over my Britain First wallpaper. I'll pop GBNews on the telly too, I'm sure my old mucca Nigel Farage will have a lovely speech on the day.

I've given Agnieszka the day off too, she deserves to celebrate what are country has to offer and truth be told I'm not too keen on the immigrants celebrating this day with me, nowt to do with them.

To finish off I'll make a pot of tea and have Doris and James over for a cuppa, finally a chance to use that Union Jack tea cosy that the Daily Mail gave me. Pop some might music on, start with Come on Eileen, always a winner.

I brought some nice digestives from Asda too, I could have gone to Waitrose but they're a bit dear innit, which reminds me I need to sign on on Monday.
Aren’t you an immigrant?

On my own behalf no I'm too lazy. But the kids will want to celebrate so we'll make an effort. Finding things to enjoy in life is important so we'll have a BBQ and drinks and raise one to the new King.

Its simple, whoever won the battle and elected themself king (king alfred i think?) gave himself and his lineage the right to be royal.

I can respect that.
The last king to win his crown in battle was Henry VII on 22 August 1485 when he defeated Richard III at the battle of Bosworth Field (Wars of the roses).

The same Richard they found under a Leicester car park.

Yes, the wife has bunting plans.

I see it as a sort of duty. I'm not particularly involved in the local community or anything but I'm conscious of the part I play in certain things. For me, it comes down to asking yourself "How does looking back at pictures of the goings on around Liz's coronation make you feel?". If you feel nothing then fair enough. If they make you feel any sort of positive emotion then remember, these things didn't happen and don't continue to happen on their own. If people like you and I don't contribute they will, slowly - but surely - die. If you're OK with then then fair enough, just be conscious of the part you play.
