Of all the yawnfests available, a British Royal yawnfest is the most yawntastic.

This is not a comment on the monarchy, it's a comment on how dull it is watching a bunch of toffs wandering about waving for 8 hours.

what's on the menu - Doesn't seem to be any specific dishes we should be cooking - Queen had Queens' pudding;
we can push the boat out for some Duchy originals, or (Asian) King prawns , coronation chickens is a bit passe.

I suppose we'll have to wait for the Crown to catchup to see what Meghan is doing, or provide the inside story on Harrys participation. (South park producers are you listening)

Bratwurst would be appropriate :D

Like others don’t understand why we have the monarchy. So no bunting from me.

not been a fan of Charles . Yes hes ok to be a oddish uncle character but I don’t agree that he should be head of state. ( in a normal country you would as least hope you would have someone who is. …… elected and actually qualified )

Ii was never was even a fan of the queen. I mean all she did was get paid lots of money to go around and waive at people and occasionally read a scripted bit of dialogue at Christmas.

however I voted pancake because It’s delicious. If Charles is going to be head of state he should at least have
pancake the royal symbol of britain

Passé or not, I love coronation chicken, so it will be coronation chicken sarnies and Eton mess for me.

Seems very odd that the coronation itself isn't a bank holiday on the Saturday and many businesses will expect their staff to work their normal hours, but then get an extra bank holiday two days later.

Usually, big royal events are great days to go for wonderfully traffic free road bike rides, in fact Liz's funeral was my last ride over 50 miles just weeks before I got Covid that has been long ever since.

Not against the monarchy, just not terribly pro either, so no bunting will be put up.
