Erm, i'm speaking with a Asus M2N E SLI board and from Pricechecking and similarities in the name i guess their similar.
What cooling set-up do you have going on, any add-ons i.e. Watercooling. Or is it just a basic set-up?
Well the manufacturer says the board can hold "Up to 8GB" so it would work, and i don't think it would overheat if you keep your system cool.
Saying this i'm not an expert on the topic of cooling, but your board can support it so just try it and see how it goes![]()
It'll most likely work fine, but it might well kill any overclock you have on, and you may need to drop the LDT to x4 with two sticks in to get it to boot with 4 sticks.

the P5N-E SLI is know to be quite picky about running with 4 DIMM slots full so you may get lucky but you may not.
