Wimbledon 2016

All credit to Raonic. He really kicked it up a notch in that last set.

After that, you really have to question whether Federer is going to win another slam.

Looks like achieving more than 7 men's singles wins is impossible.

Raonic doesn't even look like he's played, especially as it was against Federer. Lools fresh as a daisy.

I'm not sure we'll see Fed at Wimbledon again.

If Murray makes the final, it'll be the first time he's been the betting favourite in a slam final

Mentioned on the live text feed on BBC Sport that a Fed defeat here would be the first time we had no Fed, Rafa, or Djok in the semis at Wimbledon since 2002

Inspired by that, I checked when the last time none of those three were in the semis of any of the Grand Slams - it was the 2004 French. 12 years ago!

So, the sequence ends.

No Fed, Djok, Rafa in the final of Wimbledon for the first time since 2002, and in any of the Grand slams since 2004!

EDIT: Scratch that. It was Semi-finals for that stat, not finals. I remember the US Open being none of those in it a couple of years ago

Cilic/Nishikori 2014 US open final is just one off the top of my head. Too lazy to check for more... :p

edit: I see you've edited your post.

I'm absolutely gutted Federer lost today. I knew he was not playing that well but just wanted him to some how win the title again as its probably his last chance.

Oh well.

I was hoping for a Federer vs Murray final as that way I'd be fairly happy whoever won. If the match goes to form it'll be a very close affair but I'm hoping that Murray will prevail.

Women's final at 2pm. No doubt Serena will win against Angelique Kerber. That said, Kerber has beaten her before.

The quality of this is so poor compared to even early games in the men's competition. So many unforced errors and generally bad shots.

Someone really should have told Serena by now to wear something less revealing in the nips department. :D

And that's that. Serena 7 times Wimbledon champ.
