Nope, Gauff didn't challenge. The line judge called the shot out and the umpire immediately overruled saying it was good. Halep then challenged and the ball was indeed in. Gauff thought she should have won the point but the umpire said no because the call out and his overruling interfered with Halep's shot so they replayed the point

Interesting. Maybe this is why Halep is looking stronger on grass this year? Some really good defensive skills by Halep in the first set against Gauff.

Halep was the challenger so that's why hawkeye was shown. The ball was called out her end but the umpire overruled so she challenged him.

She seemed a bit overwhelmed at times, understandable I guess. The commentator mentioning she was 15 every 30seconds was very annoying.
