Wimbledon 2021

Very strange loss for Tsitsipas. Looks like he doesn't want to become the world number 3...

BTW, only 120 points behind Nadal.

This is the problem with the up and coming players, they are so hot and cold. There just no consistency.

Got one eye on this Murray match, I do feel sorry for him watching this, he still looks like a shadow of his former self. He's just broken to serve to go 2-0 as well.

Sinner out in 4.

Watching Murray, I thought it was supposed to be 50% crowds until finals weekend. Looks pretty full to me??

The bottom sections have people, top ones don't.

Murray's serving as well as I can remember, his ground strokes have come on a lot since Queens but McEnroe's right about his movement, looks like he's lost a lot of his recovery speed. Does seem to be trying to shorten the rallies so perhaps it's something he can work around if he goes deeper.

Amazing what nerves can do to a top player after so long out, should've be done and dusted 20 minutes ago.

Edit: Looking tired as well now, not sure he's winning this match if he loses this set.

Damn, I turned over to the football when he got 5-0 up serving.

This will be major if he loses this match from here.

Tough to take. You have to give him immense credit for trying to continue but it just doesn't look like his body is capable anymore.

I just see a tennis player who's trying to recover full fitness having an understandably difficult time stepping over the finish line.

Winning in two set, three sets, maybe, but any more than that and he's just not at the fitness level he needs to be.

He needs matches, he's maybe only 60% fit.

He can’t play enough matches to reach 100% match fitness though. His body just breaks down too quickly.

Had a cracker of a day. Court 18 tickets so it was a bit of a slow start given the rain, but watched Novak on the hill and there was a good atmosphere. Then saw the Sinner match, and got moved over to Court 1 with Watson. Then after an hour or so of that sweet talked my way into Centre for the last set and a half of Murray :D

^^ correct, the bottom half of 1 and centre are more or less full, but the top half is empty, so there's plenty of scope for being nice to stewards and sneaking in!
