Wimbledon 2021

And he's through! Wasn't vintage Murray, wasn't a performance that'll trouble the top players but he showed glimpses of Murray of old and lives to fight another day

Norie and Federer both through in straight sets and due to play each other in the third round.

Raducanu's also won the first set in her second round match, last British girl remaining.

Wow, Raducanu's just won in straight sets against the world number 42. She's only played 4 matches this year and this was her first tournament as a wildcard. Is she going to be the first teen to make it big on the women's side?

First teen?
Yeah, Robson did well as a teenager but her career flatlined thanks to multiple injuries shortly after, Watson's never really hit the heights that was expected of her when she was younger and most other British females only started to perform when they were in their 20's. At the moment, from the little I've seen of her, Raducanu looks like our best prospect on the women's side for a long time.

Ahh ok you were referring to Brits. (although Raducanu will probably get as much love as Konta given the very loose ties to being a brit.

What's everyone's predictions for AM's match today?

I'm going for an AM win on the basis that Shapovalov hasn't had terrific results lately and I think he is a little fragile when things start going against him.

I just hope AM has the energy and isn't totally knackered from the other night. If he's not up for the fight it could go in three short sets, in a similar manner to last year's defeat to Aliassime at the US Open.

Either way, I know it'll be torture to watch, as per usual with AM's matches.

I'm not sure I've watched a single Shapovalov match since he ******* the umpire in the eye during the Davis Cup a few years ago so not really sure how he plays. If he can hit the corners and get Murray moving it'll be tough, his lateral movement seems a mile off what it used to be.

Whatever the outcome, it'll certainly be torture for however long it lasts.
